Moonrise Studio is the creative home workshop of Bodhi Del Mar. Wanting to create a deeply cocooning space to completely immerse herself in art making, she spent six months renovating in earnest... turning a bland white granny flat into an incredibly unique and magical creative sanctum.

The studio is as much practical as it is fantastical. Each piece of furniture in the art studio has been either purpose built or customised by Bodhi to suit the industrial magic feel... beautiful yet incredibly functional.  The crowning jewel though, is undoubtedly the 50m² celestial ceiling mural. Bewitching midnight blues, a giant golden Leo & Capricorn, planetary symbols and art deco stars hover over the entire studio space.

Moonrise Studio is available for hire to fellow artists, creatives and makers who wish to run their own independent boutique workshops.​ A dreamy space nestled in the serene Gold Coast hinterland, surrounded by trees and birdlife with views of rolling hills right down to the Gold Coast city skyline, it's a small space for big magic.

Visits are always welcomed, however, the studio is part of a private residence and is open by appointment only.
